Originally from Beijing and now living in Cyprus for nearly a decade, Aoyang combines a deep love of hiking with long-term local knowledge of the island.

Before moving to the Mediterranean, she worked as a lawyer in Beijing. Today, hiking has become an essential part of her life in Cyprus, joining local hiking clubs almost every week and exploring the island’s trails throughout different seasons year after year.

From the coastline of Akamas to the forests of Troodos, she has walked nearly every major hiking route across Cyprus multiple times, developing a unique understanding of the island beyond ordinary tourist experiences.

Her passion for hiking has also taken her across the world — including Scotland, Iceland, the Dolomites in Italy and Mount Etna in Sicily — shaping a hiking style that combines nature, culture, local food and slow travel.

These journeys are designed not simply as hiking tours, but as a way to experience the Mediterranean lifestyle through the eyes of someone who truly lives here.
